Als 1895 die ersten Bilder über die Leinwand liefen, dachte niemand daran sich durch Musik ablenken zu lassen. Heute geht im Kino nichts mehr ohne die Musik – Soundtracks haben ihre ganz eigene Erfolgsgeschichte. Immer wieder kommen dabei auch besondere Instrumente zum Einsatz. Einige wurden extra fürs Kino erfunden, andere haben einfach diesen wunderbar gruseligen Sound.
